Ian Uriarte is the Founder and Managing Director of Timbergrove Solutions, LLC, an agile software services company specializing in Enterprise Portals, Workplace Collaboration, and Web Content management Solutions. He has a degree in Engineering from Louisiana State University and over 15 years of professional experience. Ian has been very active with several non-profits since 1984 and has developed a key understanding of the value that a community plays in the transformation of its individuals. He has participated in the board of directors for several local and international non-profit organizations in the last twenty years. Ian lives in Houston, TX with his lovely, talented, and brilliant wife Jessy and his silly dog Max.
Clint is currently a math teacher at the middle school in his neighborhood and private tutor in Houston, TX. He also teaches at Youth Reach, a local home for troubled teenage boys. He graduated from Texas A&M College Station with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and loves to travel and visit other countries. He is an avid golfer and loves to laugh, play the guitar, work with his hands, and enjoys community and fellowship.
Berkeley Glass, Treasurer – Currently works in exploration building 3d seismic models of the earth as a Geophysicist for Shell Oil Company. Education includes Florida Institute of Technology with a degree in Oceanography and later graduated from The University of Houston at Clear Lake; studies in Physical Sciences. Interests include giving hope to students who can’t afford to get an education but have the skills and want to improve the lives of their families and community. Basic physical needs must also be considered. Berkeley is honored to be a part of a community in Nicaragua and we are seeing the ‘first fruit’ of graduates who are getting better jobs through the Sabana Grande scholarships. He is married with two daughters and they now have their first grandson who seems to smile all the time.
Cliff is Managing Director of Finance for Greystar Development Group and is responsible for sourcing and negotiating equity and debt for development transactions, refinancing and disposition of stabilized assets, and risk analysis & asset management. Since 2005, Cliff has financed $500 million of multifamily development projects. Prior to joining the development team, Mr. Nash worked on acquisitions, refinance and dispositions, asset management, and third party property management. Before coming to work for Greystar in 2002, Mr. Nash was an analyst at Enron Energy Services. At Enron Mr. Nash focused on natural gas and electricity derivatives, and energy procurement transactions with Fortune 500 clients such as Eli Lilly and Starwood Hotels. Mr. Nash received his BBA in Finance from Texas A&M University and is a member of the Urban Land Institute.
Kurt is the Sales Manager at MSR Houston, one of the premier automobile road course and karting facilities in Texas, where he is responsible for all business development activities. He has ten years of business experience in start-ups and small enterprises and holds a BBA with a Marketing concentration from the University of Houston – Clear Lake. In addition to his love of cars, Kurt is passionate about developing and growing enterprises. Kurt and his wife Katie are both members of Ecclesia Church and are leaders of one of the church’s small groups.
An ordained minister in the Baptist tradition, Michael has completed the Master’s of Divinity at Candler School of Theology at Emory University in Atlanta. He is currently pursuing a Master’s in Public Health at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston, focusing on community health practice. Michael works as the Baptist Student Minister at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston and at the Center for Innovation Generation at the UT School of Public Health. Michael’s interests include global health, particularly HIV/AIDS, practical Christian theology, spirituality and ethics. His future includes work in sub-Sahara Africa, continuing to help bridge the gap between those who suffer from lack of access to health resources and the church. He is the undeserving husband of a wonderful wife, and the doting father to a newborn daughter.
